DAY 1 ARRIVE IN BEIJING SINCERE GREETINGS & AIRPORT-HOTEL TRANSFE
When you arrive in Beijing, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel where you will have time to relax and settle down.
DAY 2 BEIJING TIANANMEN SQUARE – FORBIDDEN CITY – SUMMER PALACE (B)
Today’s tour will first bring you to Tiananmen Square and then to the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact group of ancient structures in the Imperial Palace. After a few hours at the Forbidden City, you will eat lunch and then head to the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. For dinner, you will eat Beijing’s famous Peking duck.
DAY 3 BEIJING GREAT WALL – MING TOMBS (B)
Today’s trip will be the amazing Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After hiking for a few hours, you will have lunch and then visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. At night you will watch an acrobatic show and then return to your hotel.
DAY 4 BEIJING – LHASA – AIRPORT-HOTEL TRANSFER/ACCLIMATIZATION (B)
Today you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon your arrival in Lhasa, you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel to rest.
DAY 5 JOKHANG TEMPLE – TIBETAN CARPET FACTORY -TIBETAN TRADITIONAL HOSPITAL – NORBULINGKA (B)
Your guide will take you visit Jokhang Temple, Tibetan Carpet Factory and the Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Afterwards you will visit Norbulingka Park. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.
DAY 6 SERA MONASTERY – POTALA PALACE – TIBETAN FAMILY (B)
Today you will visit the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan Family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.
DAY 7 LHASA / TRAIN DRIVE TO THE RAILWAY STATION (B)
This morning you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Xining around 9:20am. You will spend a whole day and night on the train. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the stunningly beautiful scenery on the way: not only rivers, lakes, grasslands and forests, but also the Jokul. Some of the famous charming sights along the railway are Yangpachen, Nyainqentanglha Range, Tuotuo Rivers, Kekexili, Kunlun and Tanggula mountain ranges…
DAY 8 TRAIN / XINING QINGHAI LAKE
The train will arrive Xining at around 10:00am. You will be picked up at the railway station. After lunch you will visit the Qinghai Lake. Then you will be taken to your hotel for rest.
DAY 9 TA’ER MONASTERY – FLIGHT TO SHANGHAI (B)
In the morning, you will be taken to visit Ta’er Monastery. After that, you will be brought to the airport and board your plane for Shanghai. Upon landing in Shanghai, you will be picked up by your guide and brought to your hotel.
DAY 10 SHANGHAI BUND – NANJING ROAD – YU GARDEN – TEMPLE OF CITY PATRON (B)
Today you will take a tour of China’s largest city, which is also China’s principal port located on the Yangtze River Delta. You’ll visit the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, and the well-known Temple of City Patron. After that you will be brought to your hotel for rest.
DAY 11 DEPART FROM SHANGHAI (B)
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your next destination.
