Tours
Cancel by email. The date we receive your message sets the charge.

Hotels booked on their own
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. After that, the first night is charged. Peak-season rooms in Lhasa between 20 July and 10 August are non-refundable within 14 days.
If we cancel or your permit is refused
If we cancel, you receive a full refund or a free move to another date. If the permit is refused for a reason you could not have avoided, you receive a full refund minus non-refundable third-party costs, which we tell you about before you pay.
Weather, closures and emergencies
If a road or site is closed, we offer a changed plan. If you cannot travel because of a government travel ban, we refund what is recoverable and help you rebook. Please buy insurance that covers cancellation.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 working days of confirmation. Bank transfers may take longer. Exchange rates and bank fees are not refunded.
