Terms of booking

1. Who we are

Tibetdaily ("we", "us") is the licensed travel agency that sells and operates the trips on this site. By paying a deposit you accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your booking.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are per person unless stated. A deposit of 20% confirms your booking. The balance is due 45 days before arrival. We send an invoice for each payment and a final receipt.

Prices include the items listed under "Included" on each tour. Flights, visas, insurance and personal expenses are not included unless stated.

3. Permits and travel documents

Foreign visitors need the Tibet Travel Permit. We file it for you once we have clear scans of your passport and China visa, at least 20 working days before arrival. You are responsible for holding a valid passport and visa. We cannot be responsible for a refusal caused by incomplete or incorrect documents.

4. Changes by you

You may change travel dates free of charge up to 45 days before arrival, subject to availability. Changes of name or route can need a new permit and may cost extra. Cancellations follow the cancellation policy.

5. Changes by us

Weather, road works, closures, security checks and government orders can change an itinerary. We will offer an equal or better alternative. If we must cancel a trip, we refund everything you paid for it.

6. Health, insurance and conduct

You confirm you are fit to travel at altitude and that you have insurance covering medical care and evacuation. Our guides may ask you to stop or turn back for health or safety reasons. Please respect local customs and the rules at monasteries and sacred sites.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care to plan and run your trip. We are not liable for events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Complaints and law

Tell your guide straight away if something is wrong so we can fix it on the trip. After your trip, write to [email protected] within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
